What we do
Roofing services across Glasgow
Six things we do, and do properly. Every one of them starts with a free inspection and a fixed written price — whether it's a single slipped slate or a full tenement re-roof.

A roofing service for every kind of job
Not sure which one you need? That's normal — pick the closest and we'll work it out when we inspect it.
Roof Repairs
Most roof problems in Glasgow start small — one slipped slate, a cracked verge, a failed lead flashing. Left alone through a west of Scotland winter, that small problem becomes a ceiling.
- Slipped, cracked and missing slates or tiles replaced
- Leak tracing and full roof inspection
- Lead flashing, valley and abutment repairs
- Ridge and hip tile re-bedding and re-pointing
Pitched & Slate Roofing
From Victorian slate on a tenement to concrete interlocking tile on a post-war semi — a pitched roof is only as good as what sits under it.
- Full re-roofs and partial re-covers
- Natural, reclaimed and fibre cement slate
- Concrete and clay interlocking tile
- Breathable membrane and treated battens
Flat Roofing
Extensions, dormers, garages and porches. Flat roofs fail at the details — upstands, outlets and joints — long before the middle of the roof gives up.
- GRP fibreglass flat roofing (seamless, no joins)
- Three-layer torch-on felt systems
- Timber deck replacement and firring to falls
- Insulated warm-deck build-ups
Guttering & Fascias
Blocked or broken guttering is behind an enormous number of the damp problems we're called out to — and it's one of the cheapest things to put right.
- Gutter clearing, realignment and resealing
- Full uPVC fascia, soffit and gutter replacement
- Cast iron gutter repair, replacement and painting
- Downpipes, hoppers and gully connections
Chimney & Leadwork
Glasgow's skyline is chimney stacks. They're the most exposed part of any roof, and the most common single source of persistent, hard-to-trace leaks.
- Chimney repointing and re-haunching
- Partial and full stack rebuilds
- Chimney removal and roof made good
- Lead flashings, soakers and back gutters
Emergency Roof Repairs
When a named storm comes up the Clyde, roofs across Glasgow lose slates, ridge tiles and lead. If water is coming in right now, the first job is stopping it.
- Rapid make-safe and temporary weatherproof sheeting
- Loose slates, tiles and masonry removed
- Emergency leak stopping and internal protection
- Photographic damage reports for insurers
How we work
From first call to cleared site
Four steps, no surprises in between. This is exactly how every job runs, whether it's one slate or a full re-roof.
- 01
Tell us what's happening
A call or a message with a rough idea of the problem. If water is coming in right now, say so — we'll move you up the list.
- 02
We inspect it properly
We get up on the roof or use a pole camera, find the actual cause, and photograph what we find so you can see it for yourself.
- 03
A written, fixed quote
Materials, method and price in writing. No pressure, no deposit taken to hold a date, and no changes to the figure afterwards.
- 04
The work — then a clear site
We turn up when we said, keep you posted, and take the scaffold, the skip and the debris away with us when it's finished.
No deposit taken to hold a date, and the price on the quote is the price on the invoice.

Questions we get asked a lot
If yours isn't here, phone and ask — we'd rather answer it now than have you wondering.
How quickly can you come out to look at my roof in Glasgow?
For most enquiries we can arrange a site visit within 24–48 hours. If you have water actively coming in, or storm damage that's left something loose above a pavement or path, tell us when you call and we'll prioritise you the same day where we possibly can.
My tenement roof is common property. Can you still help?
Yes — a large part of our Glasgow work is on shared roofs. We can quote for a full close or a share of the common repair, provide the written breakdown that owners and factors need to agree the spend, and work directly with your property factor once it's approved.
Do you charge for quotes and inspections?
No. Inspections and written quotes are free and carry no obligation. We'd rather look at ten roofs and work on five than talk anyone into work they don't need.
How do I know whether I need a repair or a full re-roof?
It comes down to the age of the covering, how widespread the damage is, and the condition of what's underneath — the sarking, felt and battens. If a repair will genuinely hold, we'll do the repair. If you'd be calling us back every winter, we'll say so and show you the photographs that explain why.
Will I need scaffolding, and is it included?
Most re-roofs and a lot of chimney work need scaffolding for safety and to comply with working at height regulations. Where it's needed, it's priced into the quote you receive — including erection, hire period and removal. Nothing gets added afterwards.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. All of our work carries a workmanship guarantee, and material guarantees are passed on to you where the manufacturer offers them. We'll tell you exactly what's covered and for how long before you agree to anything.
Can you help with an insurance claim after storm damage?
We can. We'll make the property safe first, then provide a photographic damage report and a detailed written estimate in the format insurers expect. We're happy to speak to a loss adjuster on your behalf if that makes things easier.
Which parts of Glasgow do you cover?
The whole city and the surrounding area — West End, South Side, East End and city centre, plus Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs, Clydebank, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Paisley and Renfrew. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just call and ask.
